Job title: LOAN PROCESSOR
Reports to: OPERATIONS OFFICER, LOANS
Department: loans
FLSA status: nonexempt

SUMMARY: Processes commercial and consumer loans. Provides customers with courteous customer service in person or over the phone. Enters and maintains loan information in computer system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.   • Types and prepares loan documents in loan processing system.
  • Manually or electronically inputs loan to core system.
  • Inputs information for tracking of collateral; including but not limited to financial statements and UCC filing.
  • Assists customers by providing information regarding loans.
  • Answers telephone; assisting customers, lending officers and other employees as needed.
  • Reviews incoming credit reports
  • Images and updates documents as received.
  • Interfaces with appropriate personnel to exchange information and update records.
  • Gathers information needed for regulators and auditors.
  • Assists with any job function of the loan department as needed.
  • Backs up supervisor with balancing, training and assists with month-end reports.
  • Maintains knowledge of changes to banking regulations, bank policies and bank procedures.
  • Provides prompt resolution of customer complaints, concerns and inquiries.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • One to two years’ banking experience preferred.

  • Normal working hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday.
  • Some overtime may be required.
